Find area & perimeter of rectangle in java (with example)

  • Given a length and breadth of a rectangle, find the area and perimeter of rectangle.
  • Area of rectangle is length * breadth
    • e.g if length is 5 and breadth is 7, then area of rectangle is
      • Area = 5 * 7
      • Area = 35
  • Perimeter of rectangle is 2 * (length + breadth)
    • e.g if length is 5 and breadth is 7, then perimeter of rectangle is
      • Perimeter = 2 * (5 + 7)
      • Perimeter = 24
